Jessica Rexroad, who likes to be known as “Jess” is the newest member of the BCMB office. Formerly a member of the Center for Talented Youth, Jess is a life-long Baltimore resident who’s very excited about joining the BCMB community. After working with CTY in Mt. Washington, Jess said she enjoys interacting with graduate students. She’s even continued the tradition of stocking a candy dish on her desk so that students (and even faculty) may enjoy a sweet treat when they come by her office.
She’s most looking forward to recruiting. She likes planning events and meeting people, so the two weekends of fun will be a chance for her to get to know people outside of work.
As you may recall, Jess’ predecessor, Margie Policasteri, was enamored of all holidays and celebrated them with enthusiasm. When asked what her favorite holiday might be, Jess said that although she enjoyed the glitter and sparkle of Christmas decorations, summer was her favorite season so she enjoys the “summer holidays” like Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Labor Day.
Welcome, Jess! We’re lucky to have you!
